Saving on Energy Bills with PGM Glass

Plymouth Glass & Mirror Empowers Community to Save on Energy Bills with Window Upgrades

Thomaston, CT – Lower your electric bill with new windows! As part of its commitment to enhancing the comfort and efficiency of homes across the community, Plymouth Glass & Mirror announces a proactive initiative to educate residents about the significant savings available by upgrading to modern, glass windows. The company is proud to offer free consultations. Consequently, this ensures that every project begins on the right track.

Old and inefficient windows can be a major source of energy loss. This causes homes to lose valuable heat during the winter and allows for unwanted heat gain in the summer. By replacing these outdated windows with high-quality, new, glass, homeowners can enjoy enhanced thermal performance, resulting in saving on your energy bills.

“Plymouth Glass & Mirror is dedicated to helping our community achieve greater energy efficiency and comfort in their homes,” said Nikki Maloid, owner of Plymouth Glass & Mirror. “With the rising costs of energy, upgrading to modern, energy-efficient windows is not only responsible but also a smart financial decision for homeowners.”

Where to start?

Going forward, Plymouth Glass & Mirror is offering free consultations to homeowners interested in exploring their window upgrade options. During these consultations, experienced installers will assess the current state of the windows. Then our licensed glass technicians discuss energy-saving solutions, and provide personalized recommendations tailored to the homeowner’s needs and budget.

“We understand that investing in new windows is a big decision for homeowners. This is why we’re committed to guiding them through every step of the process.” added Kat Manning, Director of Marketing at Plymouth Glass & Mirror. “Our goal is to make the transition to energy-efficient windows as seamless and rewarding as possible. Let’s lower electric bills with new glass!”

In addition to the potential cost savings on electric bills, upgrading to new windows offers many benefits, including improved comfort, reduced outside noise, greater curb appeal, and higher property value.

filing auto insurance claim process

Filing Your Insurance Claim

The claims process can be confusing and figuring out what’s covered under your policy takes time. That’s where we come in!  Our in-house customer service representatives will handle calling your insurance company and file your claim on your behalf. Then we’ll schedule your appointment either in-shop or at a location convenient to you.

You have a right to choose your glass replacement company! Did you know when you call to file an auto glass claim you’re NOT really calling your insurance company?

As soon as you hit the prompt for “glass only claim,” you are re-directed to a third-party administrator that is affiliated with a nationwide glass company. These third-party administrators may try to force you to go to one of their chosen locations as they receive monetary compensation for doing so. This process is known as “Job Steering” and is ILLEGAL in the United States. Quality and superior customer service is hard to come by these days and you have the right to choose your glass provider when filing a claim. If you ever have questions or concerns, please contact our office and we’ll be happy to assist!

Some of the major insurance companies we work with include, but are not limited to:

Lifetime Warranty & Licensed Technicians

Lifetime Warranty on Windshield Replacement

With your windshield replacement, you’ll get a written lifetime guarantee along with a “Safe Drive Away Time” tag indicating when your vehicle can safely be driven. Replacements typically take about an hour and even if it’s 0 degrees or 122 degrees out, Sika adhesives exceed the manufacturer safety standards for auto glass replacement installation. While some companies use cheaper, aftermarket materials, Plymouth Glass & Mirror never compromises quality. We are so confident in our windshield replacement service that we provide a lifetime warranty on your windshield replacement for as long as you own the vehicle. If you have comprehensive full glass coverage on your auto insurance policy, there is no deductible for windshield replacement!

Certified, Licensed Windshield Replacement Technicians

Windshield replacement shouldn’t be done by just anyone! It may sound like an easy job, but it’s important to have skilled technicians perform this service because many safety factors are involved.
