Auto Glass Repair & Replacement.
Windshield chip repair, full replacement, ADAS recalibration, mobile service, and direct billing on insurance claims — handled by certified technicians from our Thomaston shop.
Back on the road, often the same day.
Whether you've got a chip the size of a quarter or a full-length crack, our team of trained, certified glass technicians is prepared to repair or replace your auto glass — quickly, cleanly, and to OEM spec.
We service every make and model on the road in Connecticut, stock thousands of windshields in our Thomaston warehouse, and dispatch mobile units to homes, offices, and roadside locations across the state every weekday.
- Chip & crack repair (most under 30 minutes)
- Full windshield replacement — OEM & OEE glass
- Side & rear glass, door windows, sunroofs, back glass
- Mobile service across CT — your driveway, your office, your job site
- Lifetime warranty on workmanship
Cameras and sensors, calibrated in-house.
Modern vehicles use forward-facing cameras and radar mounted to or behind the windshield for lane-keeping, emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. After a windshield replacement, those systems must be recalibrated to factory specification — or they can read the road wrong.
Plymouth Glass is one of the few independent shops in Connecticut equipped to handle both static and dynamic ADAS recalibration on-site. No third-party hand-off, no extra trip to the dealer.
- Static recalibration with targets, in our climate-controlled bay
- Dynamic recalibration on a road test, in real driving conditions
- Pre- and post-scan diagnostic reports provided to you and your insurer
We file the claim. You drive home.

Auto Glass FAQ.
How long does a windshield replacement take?
Most replacements take 60–90 minutes, plus an hour for the urethane adhesive to cure before you can drive. We'll tell you the safe drive-away time at install.
Will my insurance cover it?
If you carry comprehensive coverage in Connecticut, glass damage is almost always covered. Many policies waive the deductible entirely for repairs (versus replacements). We'll verify your coverage before any work begins.
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?
Both. Our mobile fleet covers the whole state and service is free. If your vehicle needs ADAS recalibration, though, that's typically done at our Thomaston bay where we have the targets and space to do it right.
What's the difference between OEM and OEE glass?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass is made by the same supplier that built your car's original windshield. OEE (Original Equipment Equivalent) is built to the same spec by an aftermarket supplier and is generally indistinguishable in performance. We stock both and will discuss what's best for your vehicle.
Do you handle ADAS recalibration in-house?
Yes — we're one of the few independent shops in Connecticut that does both static and dynamic recalibration on-site. No trip to the dealer required.
