Plymouth Glass & Mirror Partners with Dog Star Rescue for Dog Adoption Event Supporting Veterans
At Plymouth Glass & Mirror, giving back to the community has always been at the heart of what we do. This year, we are proud to deepen that commitment through our Glass for Good program.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Dog Star Rescue to host a special Dog Adoption Event right here at our parking lot!

When: Saturday, June 21st, 12–2 PM
Where: Plymouth Glass & Mirror, Thomaston, CT
This event is a wonderful chance to meet adoptable dogs, support veterans, and make a positive impact on our community.
💙 Why This Event Matters
Through this initiative, Plymouth Glass & Mirror is proud to:
✅ Sponsor one service dog for a veteran in need. This loyal, trained companion will provide mobility support, emotional comfort, and daily assistance.
✅ Provide a full year of veterinary care for 10 veteran service dogs. This helps these dedicated animals stay healthy as they continue their important work.
Service dogs play a life-changing role for veterans. They help with PTSD support, improve independence, and offer daily encouragement. Together, we can ease the financial burden for veterans and show them our gratitude.

When you join us, you will:
- Meet dogs looking for forever homes
- Learn how service dogs assist veterans in daily life
- Discover ways to get involved — adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate
If you’re hoping to adopt, we suggest submitting a pre-approval application before the event. This way, same-day adoption will be easier when you meet your perfect match.
